Dear friends!
In the framework of the 8-th International annual Balloon Meet, 2003 in Velikie Luki the following sporting events were held:
The 9-th Russian National Hot Air Balloon Championship.
The 7-th Cup of Prominent Russian Aeronauts.
More than 36 balloon teams from different countries participated in the events.

None of cities or regions has contributed more in the development of Ballooning in Russia than Velikie Luki. First of all beautiful and ecologically clean environment of our region creates perfect flying conditions. Exceptional hospitality of our citizens, unspoiled by excess attention of media, TV and interesting guests, gives to the region additional charm.
